Philippines | Coral Blue Oriental Beach Villas, Bantayan Island

We found a beach resort in Northern Cebu where exclusivity, comfort and style are put together to give us a completely beautiful summer experience. Just located at Talisay, Sta. Fe, Bantayan Island, Cebu is a beautiful resort made of classic bamboos and local rustic materials. Yes, I'm talking about the Coral Blue Oriental Beach Villas & Suites.

My friends and I went to Bantayan Island for a reunion we have planned since months ago. We actually had a different hotel in mind but it was fully booked already so we ended up booking the Coral Blue Oriental Beach resort. Honestly, I set no expectation prior to our arrival but when I saw the resort, I was really surprised. Read more to know why. :-)

  

We were assisted by a motorcycle ride from Hagnaya Port going to the hotel.  :-)

The moment we arrived at the hotel, they welcomed us with complimentary drinks and beaded necklaces which I find very cool. But what delighted me the most was it's furniture and designs that were mostly made up of glossy and mocha colored bamboos.  It was very I-M-P-R-E-S-S-I-V-E! :-)

We made the reservation through an online hotel booking site for a reasonable price. We chose the villa with two bedrooms (each has queen sized bed) and one spacious living room. Both rooms are air-conditioned and have separate bathrooms. Though the reservation was just good for four people, the entire villa can actually accommodate up to 8 pax. However, there's an additional fee of 500 PHP for every added guest who will also be provided with an extra bed.

Both rooms have cozy mattresses and pillows.

The living room has refrigerator, sofa, crib for babies and cabled television with DVD player and karaoke.

 
One thing I love also about this resort is that all their villas and suites are facing the beach. It gives all their guests a fantastic view of Bantayan all time of the day. It is absolutely relaxing and pleasing to the eye. Honestly, I really don't mind staying there for a week or even a month. (Hey, maybe I should try that!) :-)

Our dining experience at the resort's restaurant they named "Whitesands Restaurant" was also fun. We had our breakfast on the beach and enjoyed a selection of American, Filipino and German breakfast meals. The food was okay and the range of its regular price is between 200-300 per person. Good thing that part of our reservation was free breakfast. But for our dinner, we savored delicious seafood and some traditional Filipino dishes. We were the only people in the restaurant so it was like a private party and we were all having a good time.

My breakfast is a very Filipino meal - Fried tocino, danggit with 2 eggs and a banana.

Our stay was definitely a sweet vacation. Coral Blue Oriental Villas and Suites Resort has truly allowed us to immerse our summer with relaxation and happiness. I will absolutely recommend this resort to all of you.
